Date of establishment: The company was established in 1963.
Based on Ministerial Decision No. (14) of 1963 (10/27/1963) and the Prime Minister’s approval under the Public Sector Law, ownership was transferred to the Holding Company for Roads, Bridges, and Land Transport Projects by Ministerial Resolution No. (380) of 2003 (8/13/2003).

At Nile General Company for Desert Roads, we deliver a broad range of specialized services, including:
Building and maintaining bridges (overpasses and pedestrian crossings)
Developing and safeguarding railway embankments, stations, and lines
Constructing and refurbishing airports
Executing irrigation and drainage projects, including pumping stations
Establishing telecommunications networks (central offices and communication towers)
Constructing concrete and steel structures, along with related finishing works
Transportation of petroleum materials
VISION

The company seeks to reach the ranks of the largest road construction and maintenance companies and compete in implementing major road and infrastructure projects by participating in implementing the development plans set by the Egyptian Ministry of Transport for Egypt’s 2030 strategy. The company also seeks to own a fleet of modern equipment, vehicles and machines that use modern technologies in implementing road projects with a focus on preserving the environment and reducing pollution.

Mission

Our mission is to make the company one of the development partners in terms of implementing the projects assigned to it with high quality and competitiveness that is consistent with our being one of the executive arms of the Holding Company for Roads and Bridges Projects.

Goal

The goal is that we, the Nile General Company for Desert Roads, look forward to building a network of mixer and crusher sites extending across all Egyptian governorates to become production stations that support the company’s implementation of the projects assigned to it and to be a distinguished arm and partner for all companies implementing road and infrastructure projects in our beloved country. The company also looks forward to contributing to the construction and implementation of projects outside the scope of Egypt within the Egyptian state’s plans to contribute to regional development in Africa and the Middle East.
